I’m Rodrigo, a director from CDMX based in Brooklyn, and I’ve been telling stories across borders for over a decade.
My work blends cinematic visuals with storytelling rooted in culture, authenticity, and identity.
I spent eight years as Head of Video at Remezcla, where I led projects across branded , docs, and music. During that time, I directed the first-ever Super Bowl commercial for a taco truck and helped lead the team behind the first Webby Award won by a Latino publication.
Since then, I’ve directed campaigns for brands including MLB, Toyota, and Dos Equis, and collaborated with artists like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Miguel, and Intocable. Some of this work has been recognized by the Clios, The One Show, the ADC, and the Webbys.
I’m currently in post-production on my first feature documentary, We Save Us, supported by Creative Capital and the Jerome Foundation.
Outside of work, I’m usually taking photos, playing soccer, or at a concert.
