I am a Mexican filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.
My work explores and celebrates multicultural stories rooted in culture, connection, and community.
I spent eight years as Head of Video at Remezcla,, where I built a strong cross cultural perspective. My work ranged from directing the first ever Super Bowl commercial for a taco truck to leading a team that earned the first Webby Award won by a Latino publication.
I have worked with MLB, Toyota, Pepsi, McDonald’s, and Jack Daniel’s, and with artists such as Bad Bunny, Pelé, Miguel, and Intocable, among many others. Along the way, some of these projects picked up recognition from the Clios, ANAs, Shortys, and Webbys.
I’ve spent some time in school as well. I hold a BFA in Media Studies (Universidad Iberoamericana - CDMX) and an MFA in Computer Art (School of Visual Arts - NY). This background has given me a strong understanding of the full production process and allows me to move easily across formats.
Outside of brand work, I’m always working on my own projects. My latest short fiction film Thank You, Have a Nice Day played at festivals like NYLFF, New Orleans, and Morelia, went on to win the Max Latino Short Film Competition (now streaming on Max.)
I am also stepping into long form filmmaking. I am currently in post production on my first feature documentary We Save Us, supported by the Jerome Foundation and Creative Capital.
